As a Resource Center

MAGZ Health Services was established in 2015 to help people understand their choices. Promoting health literacy because effective health communications are critical to their health and well-being. Health literacy is “the degree to which individuals can find, understand, and use information and services to inform health-related decisions and actions for themselves and others. Low health literacy is more prevalent among,

· Older adults

· Minority populations

· Those who have low socioeconomic status

· Medically underserved people

One of our missions is to “give individuals health information and services that people can easily find, understand, and use to inform their decisions and actions.”

As an organization, we aim to practice organizational health literacy to empower individuals to practice personal health literacy. We are changing how people access services in their communities to make informed decisions based on their needs to receive health information and services.
